Suggest a better descriptionCook zucchini in uncovered saucepan in small amount of boiled salted water for 1-2 minutes. Drain well. In skillet, cook hamburg, onion, and garlic until meat is browned and onion is tender. Drain off excess fat. Stir in rice, tomato sauce, salt, oregano and pepper.
Combine egg and cottage cheese.
Arrange half of zucchini in buttered 10x6x2 baking dish; spoon meat over. Spread cottage cheese mixture over meat. Top with remaining zucchini. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Sprinkle shredded cheese around edge of baking dish. Bake 10 minutes longer.
