Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour two loaf pans.
Beat together first five ingredients. Add salt and cinnamon and continue beating. Add remaining ingredients (except for walnuts) ; mix thoroughly at low speed. Then add walnuts and stir only until mixed. Pour batter into he loaf pans and bake one hour at 350 F.
