1943 Rhubarb Cream Pie

Ingredients

1-1/2 Cups

1/2 teaspoon

1 tablespoon

2 each beaten

3 cups cut

1 recipe 9" double crust


Directions

Preheat oven to 450°. Blend sugar, flour, nutmeg, and butter. Add eggs; beat smooth; pour over rhubarb in 9" pastry lined pie pan. Top with pastry cut in fancy shapes. Bake in hot oven (450°) 10 minutes, then in moderate oven (350°) about 30 minutes.
