African Turnip Greens

Peanut butter smooth or

Lots of greens chopped

Lots of garlic minced

Your choice of heat (enough


Directions

Rinse greens. Simmer in pot. When theres enough liquid to melt the peanut butter stir it in until its all blended. Add garlic and your choice of heat. Simmmer for an hour or two until the greens are cooked to rags, stirring occasionally and adding a little water if needed to keep them from drying out and/or sticking. I used red chard for this recipe, because it was what I could find. It was delicious. People had seconds! Make sure you make a lot, because it shrinks down quite a bit. I made 2 bunches of chard, about a 1/4 cup peanut butter, and 5 cloves of garlic. I meant to add some sambal oelek, but forgot to. I think it would have made it 5 stars.
