Ingredients

1 c. soft butter

1/4 c. confectioner sugar

2 c. sifted flour

1 c. ground almonds

1 tsp. almond extract

candied or jar cherries

Directions

Cream together. Roll teaspoon of dough into a ball and press cherry in middle. Cover completely. Bake on greased cookie sheet 30 minutes at 325 degrees. Roll in granulated sugar before cooling.
