Apple Sauce

Ingredients

3 large apples peeled, cored, quartered

1/3 cup Confectioners Sugar

1/4 cup apple cider

2 tablespoons butter or margarine melted


Directions

Place 3-4 apple quarters in blender w/ sugar and cider. Blend at low speed until smooth. Remove cover add remaining apple quarters, a few at a time. Pour in melted butter or margarine and blend for 10 seconds. Serve immediately. Store leftovers in a covered jar in refrigerator. Can be served hot or cold. Note: To keep fruit from darkening, add w/ cider 1/2 teaspoon crystalline ascorbic acid or a crushed 250mg tablet of vitamin C.
