1 1-oz packet dry onion soup mix

1 1/4 cups Water

5 1/2 lbs pot roast

Directions

1. In a slow cooker, mix cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix andwater. 2. Place pot roast in slow cooker and coat with soup mixture. 3. Cook on High setting for 3 to 4 hours, or on Low setting for 8 to 9hours. Comments: I found this on the all recipes site. This is a very easy recipefor a delicious pot roast. It makes its own gravy. It's designed especiallyfor the working person who does not have time to cook all day, but it tasteslike you did. You'll want the cut to be between 5 and 6 pounds.

This was great! I tweaked it a little. I added new potatoes all around and dumped mixed veggies in. I then covered with beef broth. I didn't mix it at this point. After about four hours I checked it to turn the roast over and then I mixed it. It made a great gravy.

Brilliant! I left mine in a bit longer and it was melt in the mouth delicious! I had to use canned onion soup because I couldn't find powdered but it still worked great! :)

Wow! So easy and delicious!! The gravy is super! My pantry was a little low so I used 1 can crm of mush, 1 can crm of celery and 1 can french onion soup. I also sprinkled beefy onion soup mix on top. My husband loved it!!!
