2 10.75-oz cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 1-oz packet dry onion soup mix
1 1/4 cups Water
5 1/2 lbs pot roast
This was great! I tweaked it a little. I added new potatoes all around and dumped mixed veggies in. I then covered with beef broth. I didn't mix it at this point. After about four hours I checked it to turn the roast over and then I mixed it. It made a great gravy.

MurilloFamBrilliant! I left mine in a bit longer and it was melt in the mouth delicious! I had to use canned onion soup because I couldn't find powdered but it still worked great! :)

alturner574Wow! So easy and delicious!! The gravy is super! My pantry was a little low so I used 1 can crm of mush, 1 can crm of celery and 1 can french onion soup. I also sprinkled beefy onion soup mix on top. My husband loved it!!!
