B and O Maryland Crab Cakes

Ingredients

1 lb Fresh lump Crabmeat

1 tablespoon Dry mustard

3/4 tablespoon salt

1 teaspoon Pepper

1 tablespoon mayo

1 egg well beaten

1 slice white bread


Directions

Soak bread in water; squeeze dry, then break it into little pieces in a bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix. Pat mixture into 6-7 crab cakes, being careful not to break up the large lumps of crabmeat. Fry in deep fat for about 5 min., or until brown.
