Rub meat with garlic salt and garlic pepper.
In a covered grill arrange preheated coals around a drip pan. Place meat on grill over drip pan. Pierce meat in several places. Brush with basting sauce. Lower hood on grill. Grill for 2 hours, brushing meat every 30 minutes with sauce.
After 2 hours cover top of meat with aluminum foil. Return to grill.
Add 1/2 cup hickory chips (presoaked). Grill 1 1/2 hours.
Basting Sauce: In saucepan heat basting ingredients
until flavors are blended.
