Ingredients

2-3 pounds lean stew meat bite size

Red potatoes bite size

carrots diced

onion minced

barley

large can diced tomatoes

beef base and 2 lg. cans beef broth

Frozen corn


Directions

In a large stock pot add beef broth and set aside In fry pan, add oil, season meat with garlic pepper and brown. Add meat to broth, let simmer on low heat while cutting up veggies. Add tomatoes (do not drain), and all veggies Let simmer for about 2 hours on low heat or on low in crock pot Add barley ** If more broth is needed, use beef base and add to soup.
