Ingredients

1 3/4 cup Whole wheat pastry four

1/2 tsp Celtic sea salt

2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp Baking soda

5 tbsp Butter

2/3 cup buttermilk

2 tbsp Flaxmeal

1 cup Dried fruit chopped

2 tbsp maple syrup


Directions

Mix flour, salt, baking powder and soda. Cut in butter until a coarse meal. Pour in buttermilk and syrup. Mix. Add fruit. Mix. Pat out and cut into 12 biscuits. Bake on a greased sheet at 425° fro 12 minutes.
