Blueberry Drop Cookies

Ingredients

1 to 1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries

2 cups flour

2 teaspoons baking soda

1/4 tsp salt

1 cup sugar

2 Eggs

1 1/2 teaspoons lemon rind

1/2 cup milk

3/4 cup vegetable shortening


Directions

Wash blueberries and spread on paper towels to dry. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Cream shortening until soft, and gradually beat in sugar. Add eggs and lemon rind and mix well. Add flour mixture alternately with milk to creamed mixture, beat well after each addition. Lightly fold in blueberries. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Sprinkle top of cookies with sugar.

The recipe calls for 1/4 cup salt, this is obviously a mistake, should be 1/4 tps. Other than that I would try it at a lower temp. maybe 350 for the same amount of time. Wasn't that impressed with the recipe.
