Ingredients

3 pounds Split and tips removed

1 stalk Cut in 4 parts

2 Cut in thirds

1/2 cup Franks Red Hot sauce

2 tablespoons

2 tablespoons

1 tablespoon


Directions

Preheat oven to 425 F. Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray. Put cut up chicken wings in large deep skillet. Add cut up celery, carrot, bay leaves, chicken broth, hot sauce, paprika, butter, honey, and 1/2 cup water and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Simmer until almost cooked through, about 18 minutes., Transfer the wings to baking sheet in single layer. Reserve sauce in skillet. Bake the wings, turning once until skin is golden and crisp, about 30-35 minutes. Meanwhile simmer the sauce over medium heat until slightly thickened, about 15 minutes. . Discard the celery, carrots, and bay leaves. Return wings to skillet and toss with remaining sauce.. Serve with reserved sauce., Serve with blue cheese dressing and additional carrot and celery sticks on the side.
