Bulgur Wheat Bread

Ingredients

1/3 c Bulgur wheat

4 ts Sugar

1 ts Salt

3/4 ts Salt

1/3 c Water

1/2 c Bulgur wheat

1 tb Sugar

4 c Bread flour

1 tb Butter or margarine

1 c milk

3 c Bread flour

1/2 c Water

2 lb Loaf:

1 tb Butter or margarine

1 1/3 c milk

1 pk Active dry yeast

1 pk Active dry yeast


Directions

1. In a small bowl, combine water and bulgur wheat. Let stand until bulgur is soft enough to bite, about 25 minutes. Do not drain. 2. Add ingredients to bread machine pan according to manufacturers directions. 3. Select basic cycle. 4. Remove baked loaf from pan at once. Cool on a rack at least 15 minutes before slicing.
