This recipe makes the best fry batter for almost any fish, chicken veggies, onion rings etc.. tastes great and holds well, some people prefer top to toss the onion rings in a littler flour prior to coating

1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1/2 cup beer
1 Egg
1 tablespoon vegetable oil or melted butter ( preferred )
1/2 teaspoon Old bay Spice ( or other creole type seaoning )
1/4 teaspoon Granulated garlic
1/4 teaspoon Onion powder

bredareddanvery true to from! it was awesome! I added some cayenne pepper and also tossed shrimp in half a cup of corn starch prior to dipping in batter to help it hold better! i am stuffed!
