Carolina Peach Sangria

Be sure to use rosé, not white Zinfandel, in this cool drink.

Ingredients

750 ml bottle rosé wine

3/4 cup vodka

1/2 cup peach nectar

6 tablespoons lemonade concentrate thawed

2 tablespoons sugar

1 pound ripe peaches peeled and sliced

2 cups club soda chilled

6 ounces fresh raspberries


Directions

1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a pitcher; stir until sugar is dissolved. Stir in peaches and raspberries. Cover and chill 8 hours. 2. Stir in chilled club soda just before serving.

My first attempt, I was unable to find a rosé! I used a sparkling pink moscato instead, and it turned out very well - also did use a bag of flash-frozen fresh peach slices instead of fresh peaches - (it was out of season, shhh) The party loved it! Next time I'll try to find the rosé, but I can vouch for the sparkling pink moscato being a tasty alternative. :)
