Ingredients

1 cup Cashews finely ground

1 inch ginger one piece, grated

4 ounces Honey

5 ounces Lemon juice

1 ounce Soy sauce

1 ounce Water

1/2 teaspoon Cayenne


Directions

*If you can find cashew butter, substitute 8-10 oz of finely ground cashews. Mix ingredients well, beating with a whisk. heat in sauce pan over low heat until warm. This sauce packs a pungent punch, so use sparingly at first. 05/14/06: Made for first time in years on mothers day. Ignore the last sentence of the original instructions. Toss the meat in it. Original recipe called for "cashew butter" but we have ground whole cashews every time. Use a food processor or chopper to get it really fine. That is 1 cup of whole cashews BEFORE chopping.
