1 cup butter for cake 1 teaspoon salt 2 cups sugar 2 cup for cake 1/4 cup raspberry jam 2 tablespoons water 1 cup heavy cream 8 ounces mascarpone cheese 8 ounces cream cheese 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, for frosting 2 cups mixed berries 1/4 cup butter, for frosting

Steps

Step 1Preheat oven to 350º F. Coat 2 cake pans wit one at a time, beating after each addition. Step 4Add egg yolks, one at a time. Stir in the vanilla. Step 5Stir together salt, baking powder, and flour. Pour half of the flour mixture into the butter mixture and beat until just combined. Add half of butter
