Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients

4-6 potatoes medium

2 tbsp flour

2 1/4 c cheese divided

2 c milk

1/4 c butter

1 1/2 c onion diced

2 cloves garlic

1/3 c chives


Directions

Preheat oven to 375. Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Cook onion in butter. Stir flour thoroughly into onions. Add milk and garlic. Stir over medium-high heat until bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in 2 cups cheese. Set aside. Spray 9*9 casserole dish. Layer potatoes, chives, potatoes, chives, etc until potatoes are gone. Pour sauce on top. Shake dish so sauce oozes into corners. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and add chives. Bake for 1 hour until brown and crumbly.
