Cherry Chocolate Chip Cookies

Made with a cake mix as a base. Makes 3 - 4 dozen cookies

Ingredients

1 pkg Duncan Hines Moist Yellow Cake Mix

1/2 cup butter or margarine melted

1 Egg

1 (6 oz) pkg semi sweet chocolate chips

1/4 cup maraschino cherries drained and chopped

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine cake mix, butter and egg in large bowl. Stir in chocolate chips and maraschino cherries. Drop by slightly rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet. Remove to cooling rack.
