Chicken with Rice

Directions

Rub chicken with salt and chili powder. Heat a large skillet over medium heat until hot. Add oil until oil is hot, then add chicken. Cook chicken 10 minutes, turning half way. Remove chicken from pan and set aside. Stir in remaining ingredients except chicken, and cook 15 minutes. Add chicken back into the pan, reduce heat to a simmer, cover the pan, and cook 20 minutes. Remove and serve. Recipe made in a kid's cooking class at Adelino's Old World, Lafayette IN.
