Combine cream, brown sugar and cocoa powder in saucepan. Bring to simmer. Whisk in egg yolks with 1/4 cup brown sugar. Drizzle 1/2 cup cream mixture into eggs then combine back into sauce pan. Cook 10-15 minutes on low simmer. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips. Once melted, stir in milk, salt and almond extract. Freeze in mixer. Add almonds during last 3-5 minutes.
