Directions
1. Combine crushed tomatoes, water, onion flakes, garlic powder, dried basil, sugar, parsley flakes in a crock pot. Lay chicken on top, close the lid and cook on high for 2-3 hours or on low for 5-6 hours.
2. Remove chicken from the slow cooker and shred with 2 forks. Return it to the crock pot, mix with sauce, add fresh basil and cook for another 20 minutes.
Serve over your favorite whole wheat pasta, brown rice or even quinoa.
Sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top.
