1/4 cup chopped fresh oregano divided
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons ground cumin

1 bay leaf

1 jalapeño pepper seeded and thinly sliced

My hubby and I loved this! The pork was super tender, the beans were delicious. Didn't make the salsa and did not use cilantro as I'm allergic. We did find that while the pork was tender, it didn't have a lot of flavor itself. We will probably play around with spices until we find the alternatives that make it work the best for us! Great recipe!
pseudodragonThe pork is phenomenal. I did this the way it was written first. I didn’t like doing my black beans this way. It means that all the food just tastes the same. I don’t mind a slight citrus flavor to my beans but the orange was overpowering.
nerdiravenLOVED IT!!!
