1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
375 ml beer (Use a darker beer but not as dark as Guinness)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup tomato sauce
1 tablespoon cornflour
1/4 cup water
Very tasty and easy. Even picky eaters in the family loved the recipe.
mtkohnkeThe sweetness of the sauce goes well with pork - we loved it. The beer makes it smell a bit like a brewery while cooking but that subsides, the alcohol evaporates and it gives a nice flavour to the sauce. Very yummy.
