The Cornish pasty is known and loved throughout Great Britain and Ireland and fierce arguments abound as to the origins of Cornish Pasties with neighboring Devon also laying claim to the origins of the pasty. Wherever they come from, this definately makes for a quick to make & filling meal!

Wowsers, thanks! These are superfantastic, They really are moist inside and the crust is very delicious--I wholeheartedly agree with you, brattycake! I'm so happy you guys enjoyed them as much as we do!
FirebyrdThese are a staple in my home as of last night. Savory and meaty with a wonderful vegetable blend in a flaky warm crust...I'm quite fond of these; well done!
Omnivorous_KnidI was not sure about this one. I was worried that the kids would hate the rutabagas, and it seemed like those few ingredients would not be that good. I was pleasantly surprised. The whole family liked them a lot! I did add onion powder and garlic powder to the meat, other than that I pretty much stuck to the recipe. I added foil halfway through so the crust would not overcook. Next time I think I will use ground pork and ground beef mixed with potatoes carrots and celery. The consistency was good. It was moist and the crust was delicious.
