This is a very simple, excellent recipe for French bread started on the dough cycle of your bread machine. It comes together quite quickly in the machine so it does knead for an exceptionally long period of time, but doesn't come out tough. When you take it out of the machine, be sure not to add too much flour to the dough when dividing into the two loaves. I did spread melted butter and un-toasted sesame seeds on it after rising and before putting in oven. It is perfect!
