Farmer John's Favorite Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients

2 cups Flour

1 1/4 teaspoons Nutmeg

1 1/4 cups Brown sugar

1/2 tablespoon Cinnamon

1 cup Sugar

3/4 teaspoon Ground cloves

1/2 tablespoon Baking soda

1/4 teaspoon Allspice

3/4 teaspoon Salt

1/4 teaspoon Ginger

3 Eggs

1 3/4 cups Fresh pumpkin cooked

3/4 cup Oil

1/2 cup Water

1/4 cup Raisins

1 1/4 cups Semisweet chocolate chips


Directions

Wash pumpkins, cut into slices and clean pumpkins. Put in baking pan with 1/2-inch of water. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 1 hour, or until soft but not mushy. Let cool, then mash a bit. Mix all dry ingredients together in a large bowl. Add remaining ingredients to dry ingredients. Mix gently for about 2 minutes. Grease 2 loaf pans. Pour mixture into prepared pans. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 45 - 60 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick or knife. Cool on rack
