Fat Free Bisquick Baking Mix

Ingredients

4 cups white flour

4 cups wheat flour

1/2 cup Wheat germ

2 tablespoons Baking Powder

1 tablespoon Salt

1 teaspoon Baking soda

2 teaspoons Cream of tartar


Directions

1. Mix all ingredients very well. 2. For every 2 cups mix used add 1/2 cup fat free mayo. NOTE: This replaces the usual shortening. 3. You can substitute applesauce, pureed prunes, pureed squash or whatever you prefer for the mayo. 4. This recipe may be made with all wheat flour or any combination. Pancakes: 2 cups baking mix 1/2 cup fat free mayo 1/4 cup egg substitute 1 1/4 cups skim milk Waffles: 2 cups baking mix 1/2 cup fat free mayo 2 T. vegetable oil 1 1/3 cups skim milk 1/4 cup egg substitute Biscuits: 1 1/2 cups baking mix 1/3 cup fat free mayo 1/2 cup skim milk Per Serving (excluding unknown items): 147 Calories; 1g Fat (4.6% calories from fat); 5g Protein; 31g Carbohydrate; 3g Dietary Fiber; 0mg Cholesterol; 425mg Sodium. Exchanges: 2 Grain(Starch); 0 Fruit; 0 Fat; 0 Other Carbohydrates.
