Flaky Buttermilk Biscuits

Ingredients

2 cups All purpose flour

2 1/2 teaspoons Baking powder

1/2 teaspoon Salt

5 tablespoons Butter

3/4 cup Buttermilk

3 tablespoons Honey


Directions

Preheat oven to 400. Put dry ingredients in a bowl and whisk to mix. Cut in butter until it resembles coarse meal. Chill for 10 minutes. Combine buttermilk and honey then put into dry ingredients and stir until just moist. Knead on a floured board 4 times, roll into a rectangle and fold in thirds. Reroll into a 9X5 rectangle 3/4 inch thick and cut into rounds. Put onto a baking sheet with parchment paper and bake for 12 minutes or until golden.
