Grace's Lasagna Casserole

Ingredients

1-2 packages Ground beef with salt/pepper to taste

2 jars

/2 small tubs

1 package Use 10 noodles for recipe

1 large/2 small package

1/4-1/2 cup

1-2 pinches


Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 1. Use large pot to boil water for lasagna (may take 20-minutes for water to boil). Place 10 noodles in boiling water. Follow package directions for boiling time. Make sure noodles are al dente in appearance/taste, and not over-cooked. 2. While noodles are boiling; brown ground beef (1-2 packages); adding salt/pepper to taste. Drain fat. Place grounded meat back in pan. 3. Once noodles are boiled; drain water from pot carefully - use drainer for noodles to cool-off and drained. Place cold water over noodles; separate and place flat on thick paper towels, or plastic surface/cutting board. Set aside. 4. Add jar(s) of Trader Joes Vodka Sauce, or Homemade sauce to grounded beef. Mix together well. 5. Blend thoroughly 1 large tub, or 2 small tubs of cottage cheese into sauce mixture. Next, use olive oil to grease a large casserole dish. 6. Place 4-5 (enough to cover bottom of dish) lasagna noodles on bottom of pan. 7. Place half of sauce mixture on top of noodles in dish. Add 1-1.5 cup of mozzerella on top of sauce mixture. 8. Repeat steps 6 & 7. Make sure to place 2.5 cups of mozzerlla cheese on top. 9. Cover casserole with parmesan and basil. Place foil over casserole, so it's not touching cheese. 10. Cook casserole for 45 minutes, or until bubbling and cheese (should be a little brown on top) has melted well. If cheese is not melted well; take foil off for 5-minutes until it is. 11. Let lasagna cool for 5-minutes; serve. Store covered with foil in refrigerator. Don't keep after a week.
