Ingredients

1 cup Sugar

3 Egg yolks

1 cup Evaporated milk

1 stick Butter

1 cup Walnuts chopped (or pecans)

Coconut to taste


Directions

Stir together by hand in a medium saucepan 1 cup sugar and 3 egg yolks. Add 1 cup evaporated milk and 1 stick of butter. Slowly bring mixture to a boil. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Cool. Add chopped walnuts or pecans and coconut to taste. Frosts 1 13x9 inch cake or two 9 inch round cakes.
