Place two slices of cheese on each slice of bread in the skillet
Butter four more slices of bread and place over cheese buttered side up
Cook 3 - 4 minutes (lift corn carefully with spatula to check for right amount of browning)
When light brown and toasty
Flip sandwiches over and toast another 3 - 4 minutes checking browning every 1 to 2 minutes
