Ready in 30 minutes

Ingredients

1 Leaf lettuce optional

1 4-inch Portabella mushroom

1 Wholegrain bun split and

1 thin slice BBQ sauce or Teriyaki sauce or Taco sauce

1 Thin slice tomato optional

Vegetarian Worcestershire

Directions

Clean Portabella and remove stem. Baste with Worcesteshire and grill over flame or coals, or in 400-450 degree oven approximately 25 minutes, turning and rebasting after 15 minutes. During last 5 minutes, melt cheese atop mushroom. Place on toasted bun and add condiments and additional toppings, if desired. I also have been using chopped Portabellas to replace meat in things like sloppy joes, spaghetti sauce, lasagna, etc. Posted to Digest eat-lf.v096.n182 From: Gretchen Gregory <livrite@aa.net> Date: Tue, 8 Oct 1996 22:53:13 -0700
