Hearty Beef Stew

Ingredients

3 cups beef broth

2 cups diced carrots

2 Tablespoons brown sugar

1 cup cubed red potatoes

1 teaspoon salt

1 can green beans

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

1 1/2 pounds stew meat

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1/4 teaspoon dried thyme

3 Tablespoons flour

1 teaspoon chopped garlic

2 teaspoons tomato paste


Directions

Combine all ingredients into one gallon ziplock freezer bag removing all excess air and freeze. To serve thaw completely in refrigerator and cook in slow cooker on Low for 6-8 hours. Or on the stove bring to boil and then reduce heat to simmer for 30-45 minutes until vegetables are cooked through. Serve in large bowls with bread for dipping.
