Herbed Baby Carrots

Ingredients

8 ounces Baby carrots (1/2 of a 1 pound package)

1/2 cup Water

dash Salt

1 teaspoon Butter

1/2 teaspoon Sugar

1/2 teaspoon Dried basil


Directions

Place carrots, water, salt, butter and sugar in a small lidded sauce pan and heat on medium heat to boiling. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add the basil. Replace lid and let set for about 10 minutes or until crispy tender.
