Japanese Suimono Soup

Ingredients

2 chicken bouillon cubes

1 tsp. teriyaki or soy sauce

1 1/2 cup water

2 T. carrot thinly sliced

2 T. mushroom thinly sliced

1 T. green onion thinly sliced

thin lemon slices

celery leaves


Directions

In pot, combine bouillon cubes and teriyaki (or soy) sauce; add water and boil. Pour into two soup bowls. To each bowl, add one tablespoon each carrots and mushrooms, 1 1/2 tsp. green onion, and garnish with celery leaves and lemon slices. Serve immediately. Makes 2 servings.
