Jodie's bang-bang shrimp

Ingredients

1/2 cups Mayonnaise

1 tablespoons asian chili sauce plus 1 teaspoon

2 teaspoons honey

1 tablespoons water

2 large eggs

3/4 cups Flour

1/2 cups cornstarch

1-1/4 pounds shrimp


Directions

Mix mayonnaise, chili sauce, honey, 1/4 tsp salt and 1 tbsp water in bowl. Heat oil in dutch oven. Whisk eggs in bowl. Whisk flour, cornstarch, and 1 tsp salt and pepper in another bowl. Dredge shrimp in flour mixture, then egg mixture, then back again to flour mixture. Fry until lightly golden 1-2 minutes. Transfer to plate. Toss shrimp in sauce.
