Killer lasagna recipe

Ingredients

1 lb Ground Chuck

1 lb Sweet Italian sausage

1 Onion Diced

6 cloves Minced garlic

1 28oz Crushed tomatoes

2 6oz Tomato paste

1/2 cup water

1 15oz Tomato sauce

1/4 cup sugar

1.5 tsp dried basil

1 tsp Italian seasoning

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp Pepper

3 tbl Fresh parsley

1 15oz Ricotta cheese

3 tbl Parmesan cheese

2 tbl Chopped parsley

1 pgk Lasagna noodles

1 egg

Sliced mozzarella

Shredded mozzarella

Parmesan cheese


Directions

Brown beef and sausage add onions and cook until pink out of meat Strain the fat out and in the empty pan put six cloves of garlic sauté a minute or two then add your meat and onion mixture Cook on low until caramelized Add crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, water, tomato sauce, sugar, dried basil, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper and parsley Stir it up, cover and simmer for one hour Make the ricotta mixture Mix the ricotta, egg, Parmesan cheese, parsley and salt and pepper In a deep baking dish put meat on bottom then noodles on top then ricotta sauce sliced mozzarella shredded mozzarella Parmesan cheese, and start the next two layers the same. Bake at 375° oven 30 minutes covered than 30 minutes uncovered
