6 cups all purpose flour plus extra flour

3 Eggs

2 cups pineapple juice

3/4 cup Sugar

1/2 tsp ginger

1 tsp vanilla

2 1/4-oz packs yeast

1/2 stick unsalted butter melted

In a heavy duty stand mixer, beat the eggs then add the pineapple juice, sugar, ginger, vanilla, and butter. Put 3 cups flour, in a separate bowl. Using the dough hook slowly add the egg mixture. Mix until well combined then add yeast one packet at a time. Add the remaining 3 cups flour and mix until thoroughly combined. Cover the bowl with a cloth and set in a warm place to rise for 1 hour. Remove from the bowl and knead in 1/2 c flour. Knead about 10 times. Shape into rolls or loafs. Place in greased and floured loaf pans. Cover and place in a warm area and let rise another hour. Bake at 350 for 25-30 mins

Can I omit or replace the salted butter? That's the only ingredient I don't have on hand and I really want to try it today

Wow! This is a really good recipe. I had a square baking pan that I used, which meant I had to turn the over lower and keep it in for longer. This bread got better each day (which it only lasted 3 days) My family couldn't stop eating it! I would make it again and again.
