Lamb And Macadamia Burgers

Ingredients

Salt and pepper

1 ts Chilli sauce; (1 to 2)

1 Garlic crushed

1 Onion finely chopped

3 tb Finely chopped mint

750 g Lean lamb mince

1 c Fresh breadcrumbs

1 Egg

2/3 c Finely chopped macadamias


Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Divide mixture into 6-8 patties, depending on size of bread rolls. Wet hands with water and shape the mixture into patties. Place on a tray, cover, and rest in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes. Note: These patties can also be shaped like a thin sausage and when cooked, rolled in pita bread.
