Marvelous Meatballs

Ingredients

2 pounds ground beef

1 pound mild Italian pork sausage

3 stalks celery diced

1 white onion diced

2 carrots diced

3 Eggs

1/2 cup almond meal

2 tablespoons dried oregano

1 tablespoon garlic powder

pinch cayenne pepper

sea salt and black pepper to taste

16 ounce can of diced tomatoes

1 can tomato paste

3 cups fresh basil chopped

5-6 cloves garlic coarsely chopped

sea salt and black pepper to taste


Directions

1. Using your hands, mix all ingredients together. Form the mixture into large meatballs (baseball sized) and place them into the bottom of a slow cooker, stacking them in necessary. 2. Cover the meatballs with the tomato sauce and cook 6-8 hours on low.
