Mom's Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients

1 cup butter, softened

3 cups Sugar

3 eggs

3 cups All purpose flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon cloves

1 teaspoon nutmeg

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon Baking soda

1 16 oz can pumpkin

1 teaspoon vanilla


Directions

Cream butter. Gradually add sugar, beating well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Combine next 8 ingredients and to creamed mixture including pumpkin. Use slow speed to add flour. Spoon into two 9x5x3 inch loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Cool 10 minutes Remove and cool completely. Makes two loafs.
