Mrs Lawrences Yeast Biscuits

Ingredients

4 c Self-Rising Flour

1/4 c Sugar

3/4 c Shortening

1 Egg

2 c Warm water

1 pk Dry yeast


Directions

Dissolve yeast in water. Stir in flour. Beat egg and sugar, add shortening; cream. Add creamed mixture to flour mixture. Dont knead, spoon into greased muffin tins. Bake 15 to 20 minutes in a 400-degree oven. Dough keeps one week.
