2 cups (454 grams) unsalted butter melted and cooled

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ teaspoon salt

9 cups (1275 to 1417 grams) all-purpose flour

3 pounds walnuts finely ground

3 cups (595 grams) granulated sugar

¾ cup (170 grams) unsalted butter melted and cooled

¾ cup (180 ml) evaporated milk

½ cup (120 ml) whole milk

½ teaspoon vanilla extract
