1 (18 1/4-ounce) box pudding yellow cake mix
1 (8-ounce) can crushed pineapple
1/2 cup sour cream
Whipped Topping
1 (3 1/2-ounce) box instant vanilla pudding (small)
1 (6-ounce) package Cool Whip Whipped Topping
1 (20-ounce) can crushed pineapple
I saved this recipe a long time ago ... but to this day, I can NOT find ANY cake mix that comes in an 18 1/4 oz box -- they are all in the 14-15 oz size. Have you ever made this recipe? If so, which brand of cake mix did you use and which store carried it?
bubbecraftIt's moist and just dreamy ! This is very good ! Love it ! I tell everyone about this recipe ! It's very simple to make and jump7run all the ingredients that's listed are all that is in it and you use a large can in frosting and and large can in cake I think it's like 15.?? Oz's but not sure but it's not the small can it's the next size up and you can put your own twist to the frosting and cake or make it as the recipe says , that's the way I make them and it's perfect to me and very very easy !
SherryRNixI will definitely make this again! I changed a couple things. Instead of sour cream in the cake mix, I added a sugar free fat free greek vanilla yogurt (Dannon Black labeled). I also added about 1/3 cup of sour cream to the topping before adding the cool whip.. Delicious! Perfect for a summer cake :)
