1 handful fresh asparagus woody ends snapped off, cut into 2-inch pieces

1 medium portobello mushroom stem and gills removed, cut into 1/2-inch thick slices

2 teaspoons favorite teriyaki sauce

1/4 cup cucumber peeled and seeds removed if necessary, diced

1/2 small avocado sliced

Toasted sesame seeds to taste

Chives or scallions snipped, for garnish
