Ingredients

1 large loaf French bread sourdough bread, or challah (day old bread works best), cut into 3/4 inch cubes with the ends discarded

1 cup milk of your choice

5 large eggs

3/4 cup canned or fresh pumpkin puree

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

1/2 tsp ground ginger

Nutella for filling

Maple syrup for serving

1/3 up all-purpose flour

1/3 up packed brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

4 Tablespoons unsalted butter cold and cubed

1 tablespoons chopped pecans
