Pumpkin Waffles with Orange butter

Our fall family favorite. When ever we make these the kids flock to the table.

Ingredients

2 1/4 cups Sifted

2 tablespoons

1 tablespoon

1/3 cup packed

4 teaspoons

1 teaspoon

1 pinch Cream of Tartar

1 3/4 cups canned or pureed

3/4 stick melted and cooled to room temp

4 large

4 tablespoons Grated

1 cup Heavy pulp Orange juice


Directions

Waffles In one Bowl combine: flour, cinnamon, Pumpkin pie spice, Brown sugar, Baking powder, salt, and cream of Tartar. In separate bowl beat 4 large Eggs, and then add the 1 3/4 cups of pumpkin and Beat until well combined. Add 3/4 stick unsalted butter, melted and cooled to room temp. Add in the dry mixture and stir until well combined. Add 2 tablespoons grated orange peel and fold together with 1 cup Orange juice. Add 1 cup at a time to waffle iron. Orange Butter 1 stick unsalted butter melted and cooled to room temp. stir in 1 cup powdered sugar, add 1 teaspoon grated orange rind and spin with orange juice to desired consistency.
