Saucy Squash Casserole

Ingredients

2 ts Salt

1/2 c Lemon juice

1 ts Garlic powder

1 ts Basil

3/4 lb Zucchini and summer squash;

1/2 c Vegetable oil

1/4 ts Crushed red pepper or red

3/4 c DPQ Sauce; (Recipe above)

1 ts Pepper

1/4 c Dry minced onion

1/2 lb Fresh mushrooms; thinly

1 c Catsup

1 sm Onion; coarsely chopped

1 sm Bell pepper; coarsely

2 1/2 c Dr Pepper


Directions

Combine vegetables in large 3-quart casserole. Pour sauce over vegetables and toss so that all are coated. Bake at 350? for 45 minutes. Yield: 6 to 8 servings DPQ SAUCE: Blend together on stir speed of blender for 2 minutes. Store in tightly sealed container and refrigerate. Shake well before using.
